flat-tak was created from the idea that there had to be a better way of managing my nine-person Dunedin flat called the Flat Horizon.
Hi! I'm Catherine and I was the one managing the bills, chased the same people every week and tried not to make it weird with people I actually liked living with. Running hundreds of dollars in bills off my personal bank account just wasn't sustainable so I went in search for a better way to do things.
I went looking for an app that could handle shared flat admin without the headache. When nothing fit, I decided to build one myself, with a little help from my mum, dad, and his mate.
